Who are you 03:47
Who are you to be telling me we're through Who are you You float down from the sky never telling me why just no, no. Who are you Some foolish labour My sweetest favour You float I crawl You know I adore you so Who are you The sun opens with your name putting my heart to shame Who are you To be telling me with your eyes your heart's not mine You float I crawl You know I adore you so So far so bad Is that all you thought we had? So much for this foolish and cheap trick

Bup Bup 05:10
Like a beetroot stain on my fingers I can't remove those pictures of those worlds that mean nothing to me know but yet somehow we will drag it all down and bring it up What life could be So full of misery I call my own bluff I'll treat you now to better stuff It feels so good to feel so bad All you have and all you had Swimming behind you pulled by a string Down the street bringing you in Like a hurricane building off show I can see you pulling up for miles to come crashing in on my soap box let me preach of the end of everything What life could be So full of misery I call my own bluff I'll treat you now to better stuff It feels so good to feel so bad All you have and all you had Swimming behind you pulled by a string Down the street bringing you in It comes as no surprise we are fools to miss the glimmer and the spark beats where the drama and the heart meet

This is drowning in the baggage Our pockets are wearing thin This pessimism creeping Letting anger in A picnic made of secrets A battle no one wins as we go drifting onwards past the lives that we admire Once again I found my oldest friend Down the river with a gun and a lover Once again I found my oldest friend Down the river with a gun and a lover

My only one 03:37
Hear this my only one I'll be fine when you're mine Hear me my lonely song calling you on to come home For all your faults I'll have five For all your smiles I'll be so kind If you just come home Please just come home to me Hear this my sweetest dove I'll be so patient for your love It's scary how much I need you next to me when I sleep For all your faults I'll have five For all your smiles I'll be so kind For all your faults I'll be so fine Hurry my love it must be time For you to come home Please just come home to me

Trapped inside the heat of spring These feelings die waiting to begin The greatest trick the Devil pulled We believe in our immunity Come Leave with me You will see there's nothing wrong with me We'll have all we need In trailers by the sea Our tongues divide these tragedies into wrong and right We never had this humanity Leave out thoughts and fears in castles by the sea Come Leave with me You will see This place will shatter like glass We'll escape like trains to the sea

I miss my beautiful friend she had to go and give it up again Now all the meaning of this sin is all I have to give Did you knock knock knock at my door Did you leave your troubles by the bedroom or hall Did you run baby run run away I left the back door open so you didn't have to say that I can't take this and I can't fake taking the blame I need my beautiful friend to hide me from the way things end Now all the fools get their touch you turn to faith and you miss their sucker punch Did you knock knock knock at my door Did you leave your troubles by the bedroom or hall Did you run baby run run away I left the back door open so you didn't have to say that I can't take this and I can't fake taking the blame

One by one 05:49
Sister if you sell all your belongings he will follow them all Brother if you've chased all your ghosts away you should give him a call Father I'm still learning your story is still under my pillow Mother if you can here me rest your tired head tonight Baby there's a hand that rests in mine the fingers one by one We're so lucky to be filling time but I miss my family one by one Sister if you live in all these hurricanes you will be blown away Brother we're not a child now we're so wise now we should talk some more Father if you need me I'm sorry I'm still in these streets Mother you still have such strong bones you will carry us home Baby there's a hand that rests in mine the fingers one by one We're so lucky to be filling time but I miss my family one by one In this city we're all so angry all the time the minutes one by one So baby let's drink back this wine we're call our families One by one

Don't fear 05:31
You are a pillar so you'll know everything in me must flow down into my feet and through my bones even if its bad I can't say no So Don't fear So Don't fear Sleep in peace we'll light up what's hollow Don't you forget that I can't cope All through the night your words they float a wire across my chasm so I'll know to hold onto my sweet starving hope So Don't fear So just love Sleep in peace we'll light up what's hollow So nothing is clear So we have nothing to fear nothing to fear

Dove II 05:23
Filled up on autumn sun open like rivers tongues I wanna swim in pools of flesh and all comes down to this These words they can't explain what's buried beneath you veins I see it in the curves and thighs and silentness of you sighs Such a pretty thing I have found I will follow the sound Such a pretty thing a thousand kisses on my frowns Such a pretty I will follow the sound The pages we have bound our hands are in the ground planting a thousand kisses down in every room of the house I heard your finished call lying naked against it all Sink my sweet in memory let this things form in our sleep

Lou 05:13
I'm moving on Past your flame and you bodies Please hear the sound It's my last I'll wear it like a crown It's on each tongue I'll be swallowed by the worms Dressed in my suit He's my friend bury me my son Buy a ride There's still time This blood will freeze and I won't blink an eye Turn back and wave goodbye

about

For a long time I have been captivated by the great jazz and soul albums of the past. These albums were all recorded in a live setting, the musicians all together in one room vibing off each other. This is not often done these days, but that' what I set out to do. Get all the talented people I knew, and some that I didn't, into one big room and play.
It was to be about the actual experience, about the songs themselves, about the people and about the ride. Music is a pilgrimage, we have to enjoy every step.
